Sharpening Lessons

I explain about our Japanese knives. You will have hands-on experience of cutting and sharpening activities. Lecture 45min, Hands-on 45min, total about 90min. Maximum group size is 2. I can customize the contents requested by attendances.

You can see 50 different knives and 20 sharpening stones here.

We keep our traditional artisan style. Our works are far from modern high-tech things. It's not fancy but practical and contains rich cultural history.
I don't use any machines. All works are done by our hands, stones and water. You can do it same in your home later.

All tools for sharpening are prepared.
I prepare tomatoes for cutting test.

You can bring your knives for sharpening and food for test cutting, if you want.
